Unlocking & editing archives

When it comes to editing archives, it depends on the status of the archive.

1. Unbanked archives

2. Banked archives

Unbanked archives

Owners can edit unbanked archives with ease, (effectively they are still in draft) in the archive detail panel. From there they can:
1. Add/Delete trustees and recipients.
2. Add/Delete/Change assets in the archive.

Banked archives

Banked archives are extra secure compared to unbanked. Banked archives require two users to unlock, as the archive security key has been split in two, each part held by different users.

To edit a banked archive, the owner needs firstly to unlock it with the help of a Initiating trustee. The owner does this from the archive detail screen, requesting unlock. Once the owner presses Unlock the initiating trustees are advised. They can either approve or reject the unlock request. Once the archive is unlocked all Unbanked editing features are available to the trustee.

Once editing is complete the owner is asked to re-bank their archive.
